Rap Band «Gospel People» Rocked the Youth of Poltava

On June, 27, 2015 rap band from Zaporozhye «Gospel People», which is the legendary in the Christian environment, performed in the temple of The Light of Life Church (Poltava) with its solo concert «BLESS» as a part of the tour #tourbless.

At the concert mostly there were songs from the guys’ new album «BLESS» and some selected hits. The People of the Gospel managed – to the glory of God –“rocked” the Poltava audience really well! This Christian team has been already combining successfully the hip-hop culture and the preaching of the gospel – Good News for about 15 years. The boys also testified about their Christian life and called for repentance. And people responded! This time they served together with the dance group «Wake Up».

Among all the other singles of the group the song "No to War!" occupies the especial place. Having sung it the rappers asked the audience to join together in prayer about Cessation of Hostilities in Ukraine. It was really a wonderful to see how youth of all ages joined hands together to ask God for the restoration of peace in our country.

After the concert, everyone could mingle with the artists, purchase their audio CDs, take autographs and make memorable photos.
