The Gospel for Children up to the Edge of the Poltava region

During the spring and summer the ministers of the Association of The Light of Life Churches held a series of children's programs on the Christmas Child Project in the Poltava region. Children's parties were held in the villages of Poltava, Dikan’ka, Novy Sanzhary and Lokhvitsa areas.

Children and their parents were presented the theatrical performance, and the characters in it told the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On colorful pictures and slides the Good News even more came alive, and children clearly saw God's plan for human life, from the Creation to the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The organizers handed over gifts to children from the Christmas Child Project. In this way they showed God's love in a tangible form for children. In addition, they were offered the booklet "The greatest gift" for further independent reading of God's truths. Joy of children knew no bounds. Parents are truly grateful for the bright program, gifts and the simple and clear tale about God which children could easily understand.

Those programs were attended by many children from poor, large families, children with disabilities, immigrants and orphans. Glory to our God for such holidays which many children of Poltava region could visit!  Thanks to the international Christmas Child Project and the team of ministers, where Bishop of the Association of The Light of Life Churches Dimitry Laptev is the regional coordinator, these holidays for many children of Poltava region became possible.
