Celebrated the Easter together with the churches of Poltava!

On the 16th of the April there was a concert program “Let’s celebrate the Easter together” at the central square of Poltava. It was marking the program of celebration the 500 years from the Reformation.

On the Sunday the residents of the city attended amazing Easter concert consisted of the Easter- theme performances of Christian groups from different churches. The bishops and pastors were congratulating the people on the bright Jesus Resurrection and using the Bible they were explaining His meaning in the life of every person. Also the preachers were praying for the native city, for its residents and for all of the Ukraine.

Together with another churches of Poltava the The Light of Life Church took an active part in the celebration program. The choir of the church was singing about the resurrection of Our Savior, the bishop of the union of the churches in Poltava region The Light of Life Church Dimitry Laptev was sharing an important message. Anna Bascar , the daughter of the pastor from India and attendant of the The Light of Life Church, decorated the concert with her performance.

There was created a campground at the square near the Gogol Theatre. There the Christians out of different churches were treating the people with a hot tea, cotton candy. The Christians were doing the hairstyles, teaching how to draw, making the Easter crafts, gifting the Christian literature ant telling about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This evening a lot of people were happy to celebrate the Easter together with all of the churches of the city!
